MediaInfo can support a variety of workflows in audiovisual archives that relate to collection management, description, and profiling of file-based collections.  A powerful command line tool is available for all platforms, as well as a developer library. GUIs available for all platforms, although the Windows GUI has support for output expressions in CSV, and XML as MPEG-7, PBCore 1.2, and reVTMD.  GUIs for Mac and Linux are limited to tree and text output.
