4th FIAF/Cinémathèque française Programming Winter School

Following the success of the first three Programming Winters Schools, FIAF and the Cinémathèque française have decided to join forces again to organize a fourth one in 2019. This short training course on the theme of “Programming Film Heritage”is aimed primarily at professionals in FIAF archives and beyond, as well students with an interest in programming. It is taught by experienced professionals from our sector, most of them programmers in film archives affiliated to FIAF. We try to offer a carefully balanced combination of theoretical lectures and more practical sessions, and to give students the opportunity to exchange with one another and with the trainers. The course is taught in French and in English, and simultaneous translation provided for all sessions. A completion certificate is handed to students at the end of the training.

The 4th Winter School will take place at the Cinémathèque française on 11 & 12 March 2019, just before the festival "Toute la mémoire du monde".

The programme and speakers will be announced nearer the time, and registration will be open at the end of 2018. Watch this space!

Meanwhile, you can still check information (including the full course programme) on the 2017 and 2018 Winter Schools. The programme of the 2016 Winter School is still available here (in English) and here (in French).
