Privacy

Your privacy is very important to us. See our Privacy Policy about how we collect, use and store your personal information.

Account and Profile

  • In order to participate become a member of PrestoCentre and participate on PrestoCentre.org, you are required to create a personal account in the manner described on the website (see 'Categories and Dues' for more information about registration). Your organisation is required to apply for membership first before you are able to create a personal account. PrestoCentre verifies and approves organisation membership applications at its own discretion, confirming that the category an organisation has applied to be part of, is in fact the appropriate category for them. In registering your organisation as a PrestoCentre member you agree to your organisation having a public profile page on PrestoCentre.org (please refer to the Privacy Policy to review what information is visible to whom). The verification of an organisation as a member of PrestoCentre enables members of that organisation to create personal membership accounts/profiles (please refer to Categories & Dues to detemine how many personal accounts your organisation is entitled to);
  • In applying for organisation membership, creating your organisation online profile, or creating you personal profile, you guarantee to PrestoCentre that the information you provide about yourself and your organisation is complete, truthful and accurate. You will not provide any false organisational or personal information;
  • The contact person of your organisation membership is in charge of filling out, editing and updating the organisation profile. This person is responsible for keeping the password to their personal account, which entitles them as the contact person to edit the organisation profile page, confidential from others. The contact person of the organisation is liable for all that happens as a result of another person using the organisation account with or without consent or knowledge;
  • You will keep your contact information (both organisation and personal) accurate and up-to-date.

Sharing Content and Information

  • You own all the content and information you post on PrestoCentre. You can decide the extent to which you want to fill out your personal profile;
  • When you delete content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer; removed content may persist in backup copies (but will not be available to others);
  • PrestoCentre reserves the right to remove inappropriate content or information posted on PrestoCentre.org (as "comments" or in the forum) if we believe that it violates this Terms of Service statement.

Forum and Comment Policy

  • PrestoCentre.org public discussion forums are open to anyone to view. PrestoCentre personal account registration is required to participate in discussions;
  • When posting new discussions or comments within the forum or elsewhere on the website (ie. comments section on news items, blog etc.) users must:
    • Continue the general topic that is the focus of the discussion;
    • Ensure that postings are not knowingly false, misleading or offensive and do not violate or infringe upon anyone’s intellectual property rights;
